Clayton Smith

LANDSCAPE DESIGNER

Clayton Smith graduated from Berry College in 2017 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.  As a Fine Arts student, Clayton learned how to coordinate creative ideas into tangible works. It was also during this time that he was exposed to horticulture as an art form. Since graduating from Berry College, he has interned and worked at several fine gardens throughout Georgia and North Carolina. These experiences included Arboretums, State Botanical gardens, and fine museum landscapes. It was this exposure that led him to his pursuit of his Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia. 

Clayton graduated with a Master of Landscape Architecture in 2020, and began his career in design-build. During this initial span, experience was gained in the design and maintenance of high-end residential landscapes throughout the Atlanta area. Clayton gained experience working closely with private residences, and coordinating with contractors in order to meet the needs of the client and overall intent of the design. Clayton joined b+c Studio in June 2021. 

During the weekends, Clayton loves to be with his wife and baby daughter, Stella.
